I hate to toot my own horn so will do so quickly and then hurry away....

WWW.BOOKHOBBY.COM is devoted to those people who understand our motto that "Books Are More Precious Than Gold!" The main website offers reviews of books (feature length and 'quickie' summaries), some news having to do with publishing and a large set of active community Forums.

My podcast focuses on reviewing one or two books per episode as well as other features. For example, one recurring feature is "Let's Judge A Book By Its' Cover" and it is great fun! We also have a recurring feature where we review what the magazines in the field are covering (Bookmarks has been featured a number of times). In our latest podcast (Episode 8) we review the book ABC by David Plante. In past episodes we have reviewed such books as THE CASTLE IN THE FOREST by Norman Mailer (and I think offered one unique insight I have not seen published elsewheres), ON KINGDOM MOUNTAIN and many others. Our next update is in about a week and will feature Michael Chabon's new book GENTLEMEN OF THE ROAD.

The podcast is listenable right from the main website at:

I hope this did not sound too much like a commercial but if people are indeed looking to supplement sites such as this one then I hope it will help.
